  2. I just finished reading your book: Warrior Pose: How yoga (literally) saved my life. I couldn’t put it down, your story is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing it, you are an inspiration, and a true example of what I thought I found on my mat but didnt quite believe. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!

I am reading Warrior Post right now and it is compelling reading. I get up at 5am most days to meditate but these past few days I have been reading your book instead. It sets the tone for the day and I don’t want to read it too fast because I don’t want it to end. I wish I lived closer to San Diego (I live in Los Angeles area) to meet you and experience your studio.

      Thank You Ann.

I will be up in your area on Saturday November 3rd at Golden Bridge Yoga Studio doing an even for veterans facing PTSD… and all yogis are welcome to attend!

That is fantastic! – Nov. 3rd is a Sunday, so is it Sat or Sunday ? I have volunteered at therapeutic riding programs working with horses and the veterans…Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy…very rewarding. My two passions are yoga and horses.

Maybe our paths will cross in LA…. thank you.

        Sorry, I mistyped, it’s Nov. 23rd.

So enjoyed meeting you and experiencing your yoga at Golden Bridge last Saturday. I have been looking ot expand my yoga practice beyond asana for quite a while; local yoga classes focus more on postures and the body – for now I will expand my own home practice and keep reading your books. Your CD is beautiful as well. Thank you, Ann

  5. Hi are you ever I the Denver, Co area?

  6. Jay Mastrud says:

    Bhava Ram,

Sir. I heard your story last night/this morning on Coast to Coast while biking home from work. What an inspirational story of loss, wandering and then rebuilding and healing. As a military veteran, I could relate to many of your experiences and would say without hesitation that you have seen more war than many of my fellow armed forces brothers and sisters. It is so true that yoga is more than just poses. I’ve noticed my breathing for the first time in my life and how to relax when stressers are present.

Yoga has also helped me heal not just from two rotator cuff surgeries but also in dealing with trauma from my past, military and civilian. I have been able to finally start relaxing after decades of being tense and unsettled.

I plan on buying your book Warrior Pose for myself and my yoga studio here in the Twin Cities One Yoga. Hopefully I can find an autographed copy.

Thank you for sharing these stories with us and for your continued work. I will definitely stop in and visit when I am in San Diego next time.

    Namaste.
