Ancient Fires

RishikeshUnfold everything.

Pull the tucks from all the corners.

Ruffle things up a bit.

Get cozy, living inside your self… wrinkles and all.

Ages ago, your ancestors gathered around fires in the thickness of night and danced ecstatically to primal drum-beats.

The songs of their souls still course through your veins.

Night Fire Forget about straight lines, sharp edges and starch in your shirts.

Strip off the rules and burn them in the night fire.

Gaze at the moon and howl with abandon.

Bring the ancient ones alive and dance with them until all the stars dissolve into the blaze of your heart.

Life is an ancient celebration – in love with itself. I am so loving the connection to the ancients lately.
Reading Martha Beck’s “finding your way in a wild new world” which is all about connecting to the ancient wisdoms within. I feel so blessed to be connected with you and Laura . Loving Namaste!
